Huber Engineered Materials (HEM), a specialty engineered materials company owned by J.M. Huber Corp. (Huber), announced its acquisition of Miller Chemical & Fertilizer LLC (Miller) from Dunes Point Capital LP. Miller was founded in 1937 and has about 100 employees at its headquarters in Hanover, PA. Miller manufactures and distributes crop protection and nutritional agrichemical products that can improve crop production quality and yield. Miller sells its products to the farming and agricultural industries in more than 90 countries. According to HEM, the acquisition will help it build a diverse portfolio of small to medium sized businesses in the chemical and mineral markets.
