Jason Pintuff has been appointed director of process engineering at Bühler Aeroglide. In this role, Pintuff will direct the company’s process development group. He joined the company in 2005, working as a field engineer and later in process engineering to serve the feed market as an applications specialist. In 2011, he began supporting sales for the food and feed industries. On a related note, Tom Barber has been appointed as Bühler Aeroglide’s vice president of capital sales. In this role, Barber will direct sales strategies and market development initiatives. He has been with the company for 23 years, starting out as a market manager for the grain, pet food, and aqua culture feed business before he became vice president of the company’s pasta and extruded products business unit in Switzerland. In addition, Barber has served as vice president of global procurement and vice president of process engineering. He has published more than 25 articles and textbook chapters on thermal processing for food, feed, and industrial products and has two US and one European patent. The company, Cary, NC, is a division of the Bühler Group and supplies drying equipment.
