Vortex Global has announced the donation of a total of 32 slide gates and diverter valves to the new Feed Technology Center at the University of Illinois and the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences. In addition to slide gates and diverters, the company donated related accessories, controls, and switches to increase valve performance and life span. The facility will become a hub for new discoveries and advancement in animal management, nutrition, and production. The facility will expand the capabilities of more than 40 faculty members and hundreds of university students. Testing and equipment calibration took place this summer and the facility is expected to open by the end of 2020.
