Rusal America Corp., Rye Brook, NY, has announced that it has expanded its line of aluminum additive manufacturing (AM) powders. The new portfolio has four traditional aluminum-silicon-based casting alloys and five specialty alloys designed for use in the aerospace and automotive industries and more broadly in general industry. The powders are 100 percent pre-alloyed and fully metallic, excluding ceramic- or nano-inclusions, and are atomized from ALLOW feedstock, a low-carbon footprint aluminum brand that comes with a third-party certified carbon certificate to promote transparency.

Rusal has been developing these aluminum products at the company’s Rusal Light Materials and Technology Institute and using its inert gas powder atomization facilities.
