The acquisition demonstrates the company’s intention to continue operating the facility with 74 employees and the capacity to process more than 2 million pounds of raw milk per day. The company began leasing the facility in 2012, making significant investments to expand production capacity, increase operational efficiencies, and improve sustainability impact. The company manufactures milk protein, micellar casein, and liquid calf milk replacer. The ingredients milk protein and micellar casein are most commonly used in ready-to-drink sports nutrition products.
