Activated carbon manufacturer Calgon Carbon is investing 185 million USD at Port Bienville Industrial Park located in Bay St. Louis, MS. The project is expected to create 38 jobs, and the Mississippi Development Authority is providing financial assistance for building construction and workforce training. The expansion is expected to be complete in 2022. In addition to the new project, the company is also adding a new production line and doubling its production space to 400,000 square feet at the Bay St. Louis facility.
