ASM International has published a print version of ASM Handbook, Volume 24: Additive Manufacturing Processes, edited by David L. Bourell, William Frazier, Howard Kuhn, and Mohsen Seifi. The work was published digitally in August, which made it available in the ASM Digital Library as part of ASM Handbooks Online.
The handbook covers many aspects of additive manufacturing from its history to the manufacturing method’s current and increasingly expanding importance. The book covers commercially relevant processes, including vat polymerization, material jetting, powder bed fusion, directed energy deposition, binder jetting, material extrusion, and sheet lamination and the various metals, ceramics, and polymers used in additive manufacturing.
ASM International, Materials Park, OH, represents manufacturers and users of metals and other engineered materials and processes.
