Mixing Mechanics: Grinding to improve powder blend quality
When blending powders, the most important goal is to achieve the quality your customer requires. Sometimes this can be frustratingly hard to do. You achieve the desired blend, but then it segregates before it gets to the customer. In this column, I’m going to discuss some possible cures for this problem. All of them involve size reduction.
