Crossville Ceramics, Crossville, Tenn., is the sole US manufacturer of solid-porcelain ceramic wall and floor tile. At its plant, the tile manufacturer receives clays and feldspar by truck from either the Mississippi valley area or Spruce Pine, N. C. Trucks also transport bulk bags and drums of dyes to the plant.
