DTR Corp., Bluffton, Ohio, produces rubber products for the automotive industry. For rubber compound processing, DTR mixes raw materials that include carbon black, natural and synthetic polymers, plasticizers, reinforcing elements, curing agents, and other additives. For varying recipes, DTR uses six carbon black varieties. Their properties make them suitable for various uses ranging from simply providing filler to greatly reinforcing the rubber, producing a high tensile strength.
