Webinar Details:  This webinar will focus on why powders and bulk solids don’t flow effectively in bins, hoppers, and silos. The two types of flow patterns in storage equipment will be discussed along with their impacts on flow reliability.

Presenter Information:  Herman Purutyan is CEO of Jenike & Johanson, a consultancy specializing in bulk solids handling, processing, and storage. Herman holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an MBA from Babson College. During his career at Jenike & Johanson he has worked with hundreds of clients and authored more than 20 publications in the field of bulk solids storage, handling, and processing. He has been a member of the company’s Board of Directors since 2000. He is also a frequent lecturer with AIChE's continuing education series and delivers in-house courses to individual companies.
