Webinar Details:  This webinar will be geared toward the novice who has little or no experience in the field of pneumatic conveying systems but may have to understand the basics because pneumatic conveying is used in his/her plant or will be involved in an upcoming project.

The session will cover the Basic Pneumatic Conveying System including the major components and operating principles.

The session will also cover the available types of pneumatic conveying systems along with their advantages and disadvantages, and we’ll give recommendations as to when to apply each specific type.

The session will not get into detailed technical discussions or analyses because this is an introductory level webinar.

Presenter Information:  Jack Hilbert, PE, is a consultant with Pneumatic Conveying Consultants and has more than 30 years experience in the application, design, engineering, installation, and operation of pneumatic conveying systems. He also has written numerous papers and given many presentations at technical conferences.

Paul Solt is principal consultant at Pneumatic Conveying Consultants in Allentown, Pa. Paul has been working in the field of pneumatic conveying for more than 50 years, and he has been writing his PBE column, “Pneumatic Points to Ponder...”, for nearly 20 years. He presents seminars on pneumatic conveying for the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the Center for Professional Advancement in New Jersey, and other organizations. He also holds several patents for pneumatic conveying devices.
