Discharging system solves a ton of problems
A paint manufacturer's experiment was a near-disaster until AccuRate's semi-bulk bag discharging and metering system got material flowing.
Approximately three years ago, a major paint manufacturer from the West Coast approached AccuRate Inc. with an unusual problem. After requesting that its titanium dioxide [TiO2] supplier ship it a semi-bulk bag full of TiO2, the paint company realized it had no way of removing the material from the bag. Attempts to pound and prod the material loose had failed, and it looked as if the paint company was stuck with about a ton of Ti02 that it couldn't use.
