Facing conveying challenges
In this thirteenth column on the general application of pneumatic conveying, we'll discuss both old and new challenges users face in applying pneumatic conveying systems. We'll also consider a way to bring US suppliers and users together to address these and other pneumatic conveying issues.
It's tempting to think that in the more than 13 years "Pneumatic points to ponder..." has been published, we've shown that everything about a pneumatic conveying system can be predicted and calculated. But this is far from true: Some old challenges are still unanswered, and some new ones appear as each new pneumatic conveying system application is born.
