Dust Collection: Minimizing Dust Generation in Solids Handling Equipment, 11/08
CD of live broadcast 11/5/08
Accumulations of fugitive dust are a housekeeping and reliability problem. If the dust is combustible, the accumulations may also be a dust explosion hazard. Even if the dust is generated within dust controlled equipment, dust control systems are not very effective in controlling high energy particles from solids handling operations. This webinar will share some basic design principles to minimize particle momentum so that the relatively low velocity of dust control airflows can keep the dust inside the equipment.
