Foundry casts its attention on urethane buckets

When nylon buckets handling casting sand wore easily and cracked, a foundry turned to urethane.

Grede Foundries, Milwaukee, operates 11 foundries throughout the US. Their Pryor, Okla., plant produces large ductile-iron castings for agricultural and construction equipment. Some of their products include gear boxes, differential housings, and wheel hubs.
