New equipment and storage and loadout system improve flour mill operations
Daesun Flour Mills adds equipment that increases its flour blend diversity, permits effective bulk flour loadout, and speeds customer order turnaround.
Daesun Flour Mills, Seoul, South Korea, receives raw grain exported from Australia, the US, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, and Canada. Grain elevators at Inchon Harbor fill trucks that deliver the grain to Daesun, where the mill cleans and tempers the grain to achieve the desired moisture content. Daesun then mills the grain on one of two milling lines. For each customer order, the mill handles relatively small lots [10 to 80 metric tons] of flour.
