Test center modifies bagging systems to handle granular polyethylene
Form-fill-seal bagging systems, each with a modified filling spout and feeding chute, handle a resin manufacturer's materials.
Windmoller & Holscher [W & H], which has headquarters in Lengerich, Germany, and several other production facilities worldwide, manufactures form-fill-seal [FFS] bagging systems and ancillary equipment. An FFS bagging system forms bags from a roll of polyethylene film, fills the bags with material, and seals the bags shut with heat. W & H operates an FFS test center at its headquarters to demonstrate its equipment's abilities.
