Rotary packer meets cement company's needs

When Blue Circle's old cement packers required excessive maintenance, the company purchased a new rotary packer that bags up to 2,400 bags of cement an hour and requires only one or two operators.

Blue Circle, with US headquarters in Atlanta, makes several types of masonry and portland cement, which it stores in bins and bags for shipment. The masonry cement is as fine as 9,000 blaine, and the coarser portland cement is as fine as 3,500 blaine.
