A cement production company removes a leaky diverter valve and replaces it with two new bulk material valves for reduced maintenance and increased production.

Acement plant headquartered in the midatlantic states operates eight clinker and cement production facilities throughout the US, Canada, and Puerto Rico, producing nearly 6 million metric tons of cement per year. The company switches between manufacturing Portland and masonry cement. When changing from one type of cement to another, the company diverts the end of the production run to a fringe bin.
