An adhesives producer installs a dust-tight bulk bag discharger with integral bag-dump station to help keep its plant dust-free.

Jowat Corp. operates a plant that produces a range of environmentally safe industrial adhesives. One ingredient, resin flakes, is transferred from bulk bags into the production process using bulk bag dischargers. One discharger station’s seals and seam welds allowed resin dust to escape during the bag unloading process. The company needed to find a dust-free way to empty the resin bags.
