Food ingredients manufacturer uses metal detectors to aid vendor certification programs
Conveyor-type and gravity-feed-type metal detectors improve quality control for a starch-based product and a fructose product.
A US food ingredients manufacturer's new plant was designed to include a production line for a new powdered starch-based fat-replacement product. During the new product's manufacturing, a starch slurry is reacted, washed, and spray-dried. The material is then screened, stored in bins, and re-screened before it's packed in bags, which are then sealed and palletized.
