French plastics recycler opts for US-made mills

Bro-Gen’s selection hinges on better controls and a performance guarantee.

Bro-Gen, Guitalens, France, recycles polyvinyl chloride [PVC] and various thermoplastics. The plastics come from several sources, mostly local manufacturing companies and post-consumer collection sites.

Founded in 1997 by Bruno Delpino, the company is located about 60 kilometers from Toulouse. “Before we arrived, there was no way to process plastic waste in our region,” Delpino said. “And it was for that reason that I decided to start a company to recycle these plastic wastes, such as PVC, polyethylene, and similar materials.”
