Agglomeration Advisor: The quality of agglomerates: A test of strength
Determining the physical quality of agglomerates, pellets, granules, briquets, and extrudates is an important part of the overall process of converting fine raw materials, dust, and powder into larger shapes and sizes. Although no single, broad standard for all materials addresses what defines a good, durable, strong agglomerate, different industries have defined test methods and industry standards, and ASTM International, an industry standards organization, has published numerous standards and extensive data on the subject.
