Plasticel S.A., Monterrey, Mexico, manufactures 50-kilogram and smaller woven polypropylene bags for sale to chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and mineral producers. In the past, Plasticel also made polypropylene bulk bags. In January 1997 the Jumbocel bulk bag division was spun off as a sister company, which opened a manufacturing facility nearby and currently makes 500- to 4,400-pound-capacity bulk bags.
