Hill's Pet Products produces several dry, premium pet foods at its plant in City of Commerce [Los Angeles], Calif. The company stores raw ingredients -- whole corn, soybean meal, soybean hulls, rice, whole rice, and high- and low-ash poultry meal -- in seven silos which hold approximately 400,000 to 500,000 pounds each. Two smaller silos hold ground rice and ground corn.
