Automatic bag opener empties bags of milk replacer ingredients

A livestock milk replacer manufacturer wanted to minimize worker risk and increase production so the manufacturer switched from manual to automatic opening of bagged milk replacer ingredients.

Manna Pro, a livestock milk replacer manufacturer in Chilton, Wis., blends dry ingredients to produce milk replacer used mainly as feed in the dairy industry. The ingredients come in both kraft multilayer and plastic bags in either 50- or 100-pound sizes.
