Pulverlac, a unit of the Rohm and Haas group, operates a plant in Romano d'Ezzelino, Italy, that is the largest powder coatings production facility in the world. Pulverlac is the third-largest supplier of powder coatings to European markets. In 2001, it produced 28,000 metric tons of powder, and turnover topped €80 million [US$72 million]. The company employs 220 people.
