A duct tape manufacturer reduces filter bag replacement and cleanup costs by installing a new dust collection system.

Nashua Tape Products of Watervliet, N. Y., manufactures duct tape in a large mill-type factory where production facilities share space with warehousing for finished goods. The tape manufacturing process involves preparing a high-performance adhesive from dry ingredients, one of which is a resin that is very sticky and dusty. This ingredient caused major dust collection problems for Nashua Tape.
