Bucket elevator lifts company’s chocolate egg production line to new heights
A chocolate confection manufacturer installs a custom-designed sorting machine and bucket elevator to improve production efficiency and decrease labor costs.
Madelaine Chocolate Co., Far Rockaway, N.Y., produces a variety of chocolate products for the bulk and retail markets and various private-label products for other companies. In January 2010, the company needed to improve its chocolate egg production line’s efficiency to avoid increasing prices. To accomplish this, the company worked with an equipment manufacturer to custom-design and install a mechanical sorter and bucket elevator with extra storage capacity.
