It's OK to be a little dense when conveying salt
A food manufacturer installs a dense-phase pressure conveying system to prevent problems while conveying salt.
An international food manufacturer recently expanded one of its existing plants in the Midwest to accommodate a new food production operation. Part of the new operation involves conveying granular salt from a bulk silo to two smaller receiving bins connected to volumetric feeders. The company was dissatisfied with its salt-conveying equipment in other parts of its operations, so it worked with a current equipment supplier to find a solution.
