Lime company installs mass-flow feeders

Mass-flow feeders replace lime company's previous vibrating feeders.

Dravo Lime, Maysville, KY., stores kiln-run pebble lime in three 15,000-ton-capacity concrete silos. The lime ranges from 0 to 1¾ inches and from 65 to 68 lb/ft3. The silos discharge through feeders to a weighbelt, then to a barge loadout system with a 1,140-t/h capacity.
