Neutrog, Kanmantoo, Australia, transforms chicken manure into organic fertilizers. The company was the brainchild of joint managing directors Brian Smith and Angus Irwin, who entered the business about 12 years ago. "It was a spur of the moment idea," Smith said. "I knew people who were doing something similar and they weren't going anywhere. So we decided to look at [the process] in its entirety to see if we could do it."
