Seals and filters prevent resin contamination during hopper railcar transport and pneumatic unloading

When a resin manufacturer experienced product contamination from transporting and unloading hopper railcars, using top-hatch seals and filters and bottom-spout filters kept the resin clean.

Union Carbide Corporation's [UCC's] polyolefins division annually loads and ships about 10,000 hopper railcars of plastic resin. The railcars go directly to customers or to UCC's plants and terminals.
